| Bridge Tournament 2003 Information |

Bangladesh Association successfully organized the first tournament of the year on May 11,
2003 at University of Houston. The joint champions of the tournament are Faizul
Islam/Muhammad Nazir
and Ahmad Quabil/Sam Mannan. 14 players participated in the tournament
in seven different groups.
The participants are: Khandakar Rahman, Sirajul Haque, S. S. Newaz, Sajedul Chowdhury, Mazharul Islam, A. Mannan Talukdar, Zia Khondaker, Mabubul Islam (Chanchal), Manjurul Islam (Biplob), Faizul Islam, Muhammad Nazir, Ahmad Quabili, Sam Mannan, and Asif Karim (Sani). |

Bangladesh Association successfully organized second bridge
tournament at the Bangladesh-American Center - BAC. 16 players in eight groups
participated in the tournament. The winner of the tournament is Faizul Islam-
Muhammad Nazir team and the runner-up is Asif Karim (Sani) - Hossain Khandaker
(Almas) team. The participants are: Asif Karim (Sani), Ataur Rahim, Faizul Islam, Hossain Khandaker (Almas), Kamal Haq (Shahanshah), M. Mahbubul Isalm (Chanchal), M. Manjurul Islam (Biplob), Mannan Talukdar Mazharul Islam, Muhammad Nazir, Rathin Dutt, S. S. Newaz, Saddam Ahmed, Sajedul Chowdhury, Sirajul Haque, and Zia Khondker. |
