Mr. Wasim Ashraf and Mohammad Sharif provided the following consular services for the 2 days as a part of the
commitment that the honorable Ambassador of Bangladesh had made to our community:
1) Renewal of Passport
2) No Visa required for US Passport
3) Attestation of Power of Attorney
4) Issuance of Passport
5) Lost Passport replacement
6) Dual Nationality
As you know, BAH hosted on two different occasions where Bangladesh ambassador from Washington
DC His Excellency Mr. Ahmad visited Houston. During those visits our community wanted a consulate
office here in Houston, so that the community issues with visa and other consular matters can be taken
care of without having to mail passport to Washington DC. We want to thank His Excellency
Mr. Ahmed for providing this very important service to our community.
The consulate office was real busy for those two days in early December, when the mobile consulate
provided over 200 visas, passport renewals and dual nationality along with other services.
The hard work and smiling faces of the representatives of Bangladesh Embassy was a pleasant experience for everyone.
Thanks to Bangladesh Embassy. The Bangladesh-American Center provided an efficient office environment where
Photo-Copy machine, Instant Passport Photos, Notary and other services were accommodated to have a well-organized service for our community.
