Our national hero Late Bir Shrestho Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Dear Friends in Houston and All Over the World, Thank you very much for your support in bringing Bir Shrestho Matiur’s remains home. Thanks to your signatures and the hard work and dedication of Mrs. Matiur and others, our Hero will finally receive a dignified burial in his Motherland. It took us 35 years to bring Matiur back from a distant land because of lack of government and public initiative. If our signature campaign contributed in any miniscule way to bring Matiur’s remains home, we are proud of our efforts. The fight is not yet over. The Rajakar, Albadr vultures are still circling over our homeland. We have not been able to bring the war criminals to justice yet. We seek your support in the coming days to build public awareness for a war crimes tribunal for the criminals in the Pakistan army and their co-conspirators.
